Worum geht es in Gotham?
Erzählt wird die Geschichte des jungen Polizeidetective James Gordon, der in der hochkorrupten Stadt Gotham versucht, dem Gesetz zum Recht zu verhelfen. Dabei trifft er auch auf den jungen Milliardärserben Bruce Wayne, dessen Eltern gerade auf brutale Weise ermordet wurden. Außerdem lernen wir die jungen Alter Egos all der berühmten Superschurken kennen, die dem Dunklen Ritter einmal das Leben schwer machen werden

The series flash-forwards 10 years into the future, as Bruce is set to return to Gotham for the opening of the new Wayne Tower. However, when Bullock is framed for a murder, Gordon begins to piece together an even more sinister plot targeting the city, and a new figure emerges from the shadows to be the hero Gotham desperately needs.
