독일 제2차 세계대전 사진작가 로타르-겐터 부흐하임(Lothar-Guenther Buchheim)의 자전적 소설을 바탕으로 한 다스 부트는 겁 없는 유보트 선장(Jurgen Prochnow)과 경험이 부족한 선원들이 연합함을 찾아 대서양과 지중해를 순찰하면서 번갈아 사냥꾼과 사냥감으로 살아갑니다.
